Our do-it-yourself library is an ever growing part of what we have to offer our customers at Woodcrafters. Over 1465 titles of books on woodworking, furniture making, furniture design, architecture, building, remodeling, history of classic furniture styles, even books on garden design and outdoor furniture. This doesn’t even count all of the magazines, plans and instructional videos and DVDs we carry as well. If you are looking for a specific title in any of these categories, give us a call at 503-231-0226, and we will probably have it, or have access to it. In the do-it-yourself book field, several publishes really stand out, and we work with all of them:

• Taunton Press
• Fox Chapel
• Schiffer Books
• Sterling Books
• Linden Publishing
• Dover Publications
• Popular Woodworking Books

We wrote the book on building fireplace mantels, literally. Created by Woodcrafters own staff, "Constructing a Fireplace Mantel" is full of helpful illustrations and photographs. It guides you step-by-step through the entire project, from wood selection to construction and finishing.
